    I am working with mj2 files and I need to be able to convert them to a format compatible with Fin Cut Pro. Apple does not appear to be working on a codec so my assumption is that I will have to convert them to AVI, Quictime or some other format Final Cut supports. Has anyone had success doing this, and if so, how did you do it?

    The only tool I know is the OpenJPEG MJ2 library that can convert MJ2 sequences to YUV. The input components must be 4:2:0 . You will find the information here: http://www.openjpeg.org/index.php?menu=doc#MJ2
