    Hi All,

I'm looking for a free or cheap program to keep track of my DVD's. I tried Merijn's movie collection, but deleted it. The one cool thing about it was its auto-linking the movie to IMDB. Anyway any similiar software.

    Thanks
    Rico

Well you could use excel assuming you have it or microsoft access if you use the microsoft office suite. Nothing fancy in terms of net interaction but you can keep a large database in a neat orderly fashion that way.....

Well, since not everyone has a link (laziness) what I usually do is just type imdb and then select "insert" "hyperlink" then paste the address in. The text will just display "imdb" in the column.

BTW, I also have a field for borrowers.
I hate to remind people that don't return movie after they borrow them, but I at least can keep track of who has what

  6. There is a program on this website that you might want to try. I have seen it before in use and its pretty good. I have no idea how much it costs because you have to register on the site, but its another option.
