We can't help you if you don't tell us what format the film is in right now..is it a dvd set you're wanting to combine into one?

Sorry, they have been converted into dvd format it just that the film is in parts.
I'm able to put them through dvd shrink but obviously dvd shrink will only put one through at a time.

I've thought about using nero but there is a pause when the film connects through nero.

Assuming you convert the VOBs to MPEG, MPEG2VCR does a good clean job with cutting and pasting. Then reauthor from the new MPEG.

You might also have to demux and join any subtitles.

If no editing is required how about DVDShrink.

Open the first DVD image from hard disk. Enter reauthor mode. Select the first VOB file.

Go to full disk mode. Open the second disk image, Enter reauthor mode and select the Second part of the movie.

    Backup.

It can be neater if you rename the VOB files so that the two parts are unique. You can even put them in the same directory if you prefer a more orderly hard disk.
