Hi, does vob2pg supports selecting the part of the Vob to be converted?
Or what program can I use to select, let's say a minute from a DVD to be converted to MPG?
What I want to do is convert just some shots from a DVD to a video format that I can use in Premiere pro, hopefully one with no higher compression. DV-Avi would be magnificent!
Do you know how can I achive this?
I'm a cinematographer, And I just shot some MiniDv footage but I don't have a way to capture it to my PC because I don't own a MiniDv camera or recorder. So I will get the Original DVD, but I want to be able to edit some parts and Color correct them a bit. Can this be done? Or I'm better off renting a recorder for a day?
Thanks in advanced.

While you can get video off of a DVD back into Premiere, the quality just won't be as good as pulling it right off of your miniDV tape.
A firewire card and cable shouldn't cost you more than $50. Rent a miniDV player for a day. If you're a cinematographer, it's just a good investment. -
