So for some time i had an LG DVDRW using Smartbuy Media (ProDisc F01 - Metallic orange). After some burns i found alot of burns with crc errors. So from there i bought some Benq Media (DAXON008S).

After some 2 good burns, an error popped up and writing failed. From there i changed DVDRW to a NEC3550A one. Again used a Smartbuy and 2 Benq media and they went fine. When i used another Benq with DVD Decrypter, i found a Power Calibration Error in DVD Decrypter log. Scrapped that single media and tried another, this time it started writing with a slow speed for a few seconds until an error (i Think same as the one with LG) popped up again.

    Error on NEC:

Now, i need some help on what to do, i tried new media and a new drive to no avail :S

    Help please
    Regards

Try using ImgBurn 2.1.0.0, its a newer version of the same burn engine in DVDDecrypter. Make sure all your drives are in DMA mode. It usually is best to have the latest firmware in your drive also.

    DfraGG3r,

It looks like the drive doesn't like the media. To verify that, it would help if you would post a burn log. If you don't have one, you can make a "Test Mode" burn to get a log without really burning to the disk, so the disk will still be useable in the future. Just keep in mind that "Test Mode" only works with -R media. With +R media, it actually burns to the disk.

It would also be a good idea to follow GKar's recommendation to upgrade to ImgBurn for your burning. It's also freeware, by the same author that gave us DvdDecrypter.

I'm currently burning with Nero, all seems fine for now.

Will try IMGBURN on my next one

    Cheers
