I have noticed that more and more DVDs are not copying. I started with just Disney Distributed DVDs and now more and more. I am using DVDCOPY Platnum and DVDShrink. Is there something else that I can start using or is anyone else seeing these trends?

  2. Yup, time marches on and so do those who encrypt dvds. Dvd43 is a freeware program that works with dvddecrypter and dvdshrink and takes care of most movies, or you can use dvdfabdecrypter to, of course, decrypt dvds. Dvdfabdecrypter is free and is constantly updated to stay up with the encrypters, be sure you use the latest version. Nyah Levi

    MattGTS,

As nelson133 mentioned, the studios are doing everything in their power to prevent you from backing up your dvds. You need to use a ripping program that is designed to correct the intentional errors they are putting on the disks.

RipIt4Me is another freeware ripping program with a good track record. I haven't had a problem yet with it, but you can try out the different freeware programs, and see which works best for you
