i have a phillps 751 dvd player. Tonight I was watching Pearl Harbor and it played fine thru the first disk without fail. The second disk after about 20 minutes started to pause like every 3 seconds. Like hang up.

I pulled the DVD out and it was perfect. No scratches or dirt or crud? The disk was enormously HOT thought? Is this a sign of over playing?

I put a house hold size fan on the player and after about 2 minutes played the disk again and it played to the end without any skips?

This is the first LONG (over 2 hours) movie I played yet. Is this normal with heat up of players? And should I be concerned?
