Hi LS, thanks for the offer of help but I bought the recorder already and I plumped for the Lite-On DD-A100X for £85 delivered. I'd checked out a few players here and although this one had no reviews on this site (I could be the first!), for the price and features and simply recording from TV then you can't go wrong with the A100X
I was just popping into OT to see how you guys (and girls if there are any) were doing as it's been a while since I read the posts 8) -
