  1. hey guys
i hope you can help me to make a vcd
nero doesn't accept the avi to encode. error message: error in ecoding and program stops.
the problem seems to be in the audio. so i separated the audio from the avi with nandub en turned it into wav en then put the wav as sound source and the originel avi as video source when encoding with TMPEGnc. after encoding splitted the mpeg with the TMPEGnc mpeg tools into 2 files.
nero still says the file is not good but proposed re-encoding which nero does and burns 1st cd. but 2nd part has audio that is not synchrone with video. this procedure is long and doesn't give satisfaction. is there an other methode. can you guys help me out?? looking forward to your reply

  2. Is the AVI uncompressed?
Is the audio 44.1 kHz, 16 bit, stereo?
Are you using the TMPGEnc VCD template?
Why does the problem seem to be the audio?
