Converting .AVI file

Hi

I am trying to covert a .AVI movie into a DVD format using Nero 6. Unfortunately with no sucess

Can anybody please give me some pointers If it is not possible with Nero 6, a few suggestions on easy to use convertion programmes would be much appreciated

Some description of exactly how previous attempts failed would be helpful.

Some description of the type of AVI would be helpful.

With the limited information available, all I could suggest would be to try something else.

For the AVI you have then use GSpot to find out what codecs were used to make the AVI,this way you could post a screenshot of the info given by GSpot in order for other members to find the solution to the problem you have with Nero.

ConvertXtoDVD is an excellent program but here is a guide for Nero, too: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946 Like said, use GSpot to ensure you have the proper codecs.
