    Hello,

ive just bought a new game for my pc, its come on 3 DVD discs.

for some reason though my DVD player doesnt detect them, it detects normal dvds, and it detects audio cds/data cds, but cant detect the game DVDs.

This is very common problem , and will get worse ... wish they'd stick with cd's .

In this case you only have two option's :

    1: Buy a new dvd burner , liteon , sony , lg , pioneer ... then other's ... in this order

    But before that

2: Take them back where you bought them for a refund or exchange ... some computer stores will test them on an instore pc ... if they dont work there either , you get exchange or refund .

Yes , dodgy disc's do turn up ... too often .

If you REALLY want this game take the disks to anoyther system which can read them and burn copies. They just might work.

    Yes, return them.

You might be able to get the game to work if you buy a DVD-ROM drive. If you do, however, stay away from any LG or Samsung product.

some DVD drives have firmware updates that improve their 'readability' range; report the problem to the drive manufacturer, they will advise (sooner or later).
