Dvd recorder files using DVD Shrink / VideoReDo / Error opening files

I have recorded some programmes from the Tv using my dvd recorder
using the ESP rec mode 3.00 hours. It as also recorded some adverts.


I have tried using DVD Shrink and VideoReDo Plus, to execute adverts, but
no luck, i get the following when using Shrink, Invalid DVD navigation structure,
and when using VideoReDo Plus it states, output stream error: Error opening file

Is there another programme i could try.

Check that recorder was set in dvd-video mode and not vr mode .

If disc is in vr mode , copy the files from disc to pc , and use tmpgenc to open and convert them .

If video mode was used ... media error possible ... use brand like verbatim .
Also beware , of the media type required by the recorder ... this can cause similar problems .

NO! adverts are a contract that you implicitly have when you watch a programme on commercial TV. By not watching the adverts you are breaking that contract and liable for incarceration in Guantanamo Bay.
Shrink is not a great way to get rid of adverts try dvd author, far better and it can read most dvd recorder discs (dvd-vr mode?)
