hi i have just joined the site and looks like a very interesting site with lots of info.
at the moment iam trying to burn a file to dvd+rw disc but when i view the film through dvd player the audio is out of sync by about 1 second.
the audio comes first then picture.
i burned using nero but unsure if i can change any setting in nero to pull audio back inline with picture.
i do have another burning program that has advanced settings and in there is a box for audio delay and another box for video delay which is in milliseconds.
so could someone let me know what number i need to add to the audio box please or maybe another method that will help me on this.
any help would be much appriciated.

What is your source file? How was it captured, and encoded? Lots of stuff can cause sync loss. You need to supply more information. Video tapes captures can drops tons of frames.
Nero Burning Rom won't knock the file out of sync, but some of the other Nero tools might.
