Hey guys. I encoded an avi capture I did of a scene from Dragon to the DVD template in bbMpg, and it played on my Apex 5131, BUT!! Looked like s()it. Very pixelly and the a/v sync was way off. Why is it that DVD players will play all kinds of svcds, vcds, xvcds, whatever on cdrs, but they won't play their own format on a cdr? Sounds like a conspiracy to me.......

The apex 703 plays mini-dvd great but you have to apply a patch to the firmware via a CDR. Perhaps the 5131 needs a bit of tweaking to the firmware to get the results you may be looking for.

Nah..... I just did it to play around. So far I am extremely satisfied with Sefy's SxVCD template. And you can fit it all on one cd with some tweaking. I am going to stick with that. Thanks for the input........
