    What is DVD Hacks? Why do people want to hack their players?

    To be able to play movie? My players already play all movies.

    So that you can play other Region DVD's or You have a player that only plays NTSC DVD's and you also want to be able to play PAL DVD's.... Info here on what peope have done. Also Welcome to the Forum...

    Well not all ppl is lucky enough to buy all-region players the first time they own DVD players. Most of the hack involves region coding, color system (PAL/NTSC), and some even macrovision encryption. Here in South East Asia, almost all players are multi region & system, otherwise ppl won't buy it.
