Hi friends,
I have Sony DVD player Model: DVP-NS55P. It works just fine with the resume function (starting from the point where stopped playing) upto 6 DVDs.
When I put mp3 cds...it plays excellent. But the resume funtion is not working for mp3 cds. Why it is? Also is there anyway to make mp3 tracks to get resume functionality like changing the format etc., what I want is I should get mp3 songs with resume functionality.
Thanks in advance,
vvkp
ps: I shall appreciate if someone inform about any model for mp3 palyer with resume functionality. I want it in Boom box type for my old parents. No walkman models please.

The functionality is player specific. If the player doesn't support it - as yours doesn't - there is nothing you can do to change it. In fact most players only support resume for DVD playback once the disc is removed. You may find mp3 resume is a cheap little no-brand chinese model, as these seem to have features no-one else carries.
