  1. Greetings All,

If this is answered elsewhere, please direct me but my question is that I have transferred digital video from my Canon Camera to a DVD on my DVD Recorder which was the only method given by the book. So now I have it on a DVD. Now what does someone suggest for taking that video and putting in on the PC so I can use in home DVD movies? Is there a way to rip it and break it down so fragments can be used in compilations made with DVD Creator software?

    Thanks, Joel

    Search Comp PM
vob2mpg and you will get one mpg that you can edit in mpeg editors or convert the mpg to avi,wmv or something else.

  4. 1. Copy the movie file/s from the Canon to a folder.
    2. Play it to make sure its CODEC is in place.
    3. Transcode to DVD mpeg2 with TMPGENC.
    4. Import, edit, and compile the DVD with TMPGENC DVDauthor.
    5. Burn, then watch.

    Note : I can shoot up to 15 minutes of 30fps video, with a $24 2GB SD card, on a CanonA700 camera.
