  2. If SED TVs are truly better than a CRT (In Every Single Way), and:
    1) Fully supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i AND 1080p.
    2) Won't butcher the video from any source.

Then it's going to wind up being my very first Flat Panel TV and HDTV.
I'm still using a SD 480i 27" WEGA, as the shortcomings of current HD* and Flat Panel technology, quite frankly, in MY opinion, suck.
Don't take it personally, it's just my opinion that I shouldn't have to "Give Up" anything when buying a "Better" TV.
    It's illogical...

*I know that the current problems with some of the HD Video Material itself is mostly caused by crappy compression, and is a seprate issue that is solveable before it reaches the TV.
It's up to whoever is compressing it to fit in an ATSC Broadcast Stream, or on a HD-DVD or Blueray Disk to get that part of it right.

  3. Would the price range for SED sets be similar to Plasma? or to the less expensive DLP/LCD projection TV's?
