spiderman conversion problems

Has anyone downloaded spiderman, and have you had any problems converting it to MPG format. AVI2VCD will not do it because it has compressed audio. TMPG and Vdub don't work either. Does anyone know what to use. The file says its in AVI format that all the info I have.

I just tried converting Spiderman today and also had problems. Got through 30 second of the Hulk trailer fine and then lost all audio! I get sound when I play the AVI file so I know it's there.
Guess we'll both be searcing the forums.

I had the same problem, and I unistalled and reinstalled my sound card and I now have sound

Downloaded EO Video It converted to mpg ok took aqlot of time.
Still haveing problems transfering to VCD. Will have to keep searching.
