What im trying to do is put a couple of video media files of various format on one DVD to play in a regular DVD player. Im using ConvertXtoDVD to do all my converting but when I add all my videos to the list it gives me a error message at the end of the convert prosses. Is there an easier way to do this? Should I just convert them all individually and then put all the VIDEO_TS files in one folder? Please help...

What's the exact error message? Are those 'various' formats all compatible with ConvertX?

You could convert them individually, then put them into an authoring program and let it sort out the files. But that would probably defeat the purpose of using a 'all in one' converter like ConvertX.

I dont have the exact message cause it takes about 3 hours of converting to get to...maybe I will convert all of them to a format that I know is compatable with Convertx, and then try it again, and if that doesnt work, then I'll at least get that error message again and Ill write it down.

Are you running the latest version ? A recent update added quite a few new formats, including avisynth files, ogm and others, and improved support for mkv, quicktime mov and others.

ConvertXtoDVD doesn't like real media files (RM, RMVB etc), so don't use it for them.

If you know how to convert/reencode them yourself, why not take the full step and reencode to DVD specifications MPG at once, then author as DVD? No need for convertxtodvd in that case.
