  1. is there any other program which can add audio back to a .mpg movie apart from VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod, as both wont do direct stream copy on the video side, also I have tried TmpENC but that wont take a .wav audio the movie I have is a .mpg and the audio is .wav I made the audio louder with goldwave, which I used VirtualDub to extract it

    Click on "ES (Audio Only)" on the radio buttons on TMPGenc (ie cancel the wizard , the buttons are on the right hand side at the bottom) input the wav file in the selector space , set your bitrate and it will make the MP2 file from it (thats if you want it as MP2) ,

    If you want to use an MP2 file , next use MPG Tools in the menu in TMPGenc to remux them . Other programs can do it , but you already have TMPGenc .

    Either the Simple Multiplex or Multiplex - yes . Most commonly called remuxing , at least in this forum it is .
