I don't know if this topic belong here, but if it isn't I'm sorry. And this might be hard for me to explain.

What I was looking for was, I want to know which program can make lyric and that it changes color following by the singer sing.

    Click
    Here for a simple.

But I don't want the program that only have text. I want the program to be able to open the movie and have the text with it.

    So far I tried
    -Karaoke CD+G
    -Karaoke DART CD+G
    -Karaoke Tool

and they only have the text only. Can't insert movie.

I may not be the best responder to this, but bear with me...

First, you have to decide what the destination format your working toward:
    1. KaraokeDVD
    2. Karaoke(S)VCD
    3. KaraokeCDG
    4. computer (only) Karaoke files
    5. other, non-standard stuff

If 1, you find a subs editor and authoring app that supports Karaoke "wipe-on" color FX (like Maestro). No need to waste time and lose quality be burning the text onto the video, just use the subtitle overlay function. DVD supports this.

If 2, you find a subs editor that supports the wipe-on effect, render (with Blue/Green/Black background screen, or alpha channel) to AVI (or QT depending on your app), then composite the movie background and the text foreground together in an NLE app (one that supports chromakey/matting) and render out the final AVI (or frameserve to TMPGEnc) and then encode the MPEG and author/burn. VCD supports the video, but no subs overlay, so you got to go this way. SVCD supports subs, but playback support for this function is so sporadic, that I wouldn't recommend it, just do the same as for VCD.

If 3, CDG does NOT support video (it's bitrate is WAYYYYY to low for that), so you have to use one of those aforementioned apps.

If 4 or 5, won't comment on them, but the same companies that do #3-type apps are probably a good place to start.

fantastic, it sounds interesting, hope u can explain it more clearly for a beginner like me. im starting to learn to make karaoke using crop effect on premiere pro 1.5 but find it laborious. i like the style you explained but it's a little bit complicated to me.
