I saw that Voltron season 1 will be on dvd next week! I love it!

I bought the Zelda cartoons last week and I have the Super mario cartoons from the spring time. It's so awesome having the 80's cartoons on dvd at last!! It's like living my childhood again

Do they have the old GI JOE cartoons out?? I wasn't an avid watcher but they were fun.

I resigned up with columbia dvd club so I might buy it on there. I have to get 4 at regular price. This might be a good way to do it. I saw the best buy ad had them for $22 so I'm guessing they'd probably be $25 or so at the club price.

I loved that show, but I forgot most of the episodes. I got Star Blazers when it came out on DVD. I'd probably get GI Joe too if more than the movie is out. And of course Transformers.

Transformers is already on dvd. The originals are all out.

And lordsmurf provided me info that most of voltron is already on dvd. I guess this is some kind of reissue thats being released.

All of Voltron was released in Australia on DVD, by Madman Entertainment, except for the crossover movie. However, that was released on VHS a few times, including from WEP directly.

Most good releases seem to happen outside the USA in past years, at least when discussing cartoons.

  6. This is not the full season 1. It is only the first 15 episodes. The rest will be released at a later date.

Volume two will be released on November 21

I bought mine yesterday. I haven't watched a full episode yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Is it just me or is the voice doing the opening the same guy who does the voice for the original OPTIMUS PRIME????

    BUMP

I finally watched three or four episodes this evening.

Wow I don't remember these at all!!! I know I had the full voltron robot as a kid. I must have only seen the show once when it originally aired.

I saw the end credits it came out in 1984. I was six then. I probably only did see it once. Funny though I remembered ROBOTECH and Transformers a lot more vividly then these VOLTRON episodes.

    But its fun rediscovering these
