I'm looking to burn to dual layer dvd. Does it matter much whether I use dvd-r or dvd+r dual layer disks regarding final playability on dvd players ? Can anyone offer any advise/recommendations for this. Thanks.

I've had my DL for a couple months now with sorta mixed results. All the DL disks plays excellent on my computer in both my drives, but of the two players I have it's not so good. My Sony player won't play DL at all, none of them. My Magnavox DVR has played about 1/2 of the Verbatim +DL I've tried in it and the rest of them only about 1/2 way through then.... nothing. locked up. Like I said, they all play excellent in computer. My players are old and outdated I suppose.
Good luck. -
