    Hi,

I just signed up for a monthly program with Yahoo music unlimited. I like it so far. Though my mp3 player isn't on the compatible list (it is for Napster but thats $10 a month and this is $7 - I might switch to napster next month so I can upload my songs to my mp3 player - though this would be a good excuse to buy a new mp3 player ).

What I like is you can play an entire song before downloading it - even though you can download it anyway with the subscription. That way you can tell if you like it or if its the right version of the song your looking for.

There is one minor flaw I can see in it. The song search feature is disabled when you have your "my music" playlist displayed. You have to click on home to go back to searching for music. Why in the world they don't have a permanent song search field I don't know. Minor irritation but otherwise I like it.

Also one bonus is the songs are 80 cents for buying instead of a $1 like itunes. Not a big savings but if you go on a buying spree the savings can add up.

So what if any subscription services do you use?

No its $7 a month for the service. You can download as many songs as you want but are only playable on the pc and limited uploads to compatible mp3 players. Its 80cents a song to buy it for cd burning and unlimited mp3 player transfers.

    BUMP

Just thought I'd post something cool about this. I had downloaded a john mellencamp song this evening. I only played it once in yahoo music but it was automatically added to my musicmatch 10 playlist That's pretty slick.

Must it be played in Musicmatch or can you use other programs?

No it can also be played in windows media player as well as the yahoo music jukebox program.

I haven't tried any other program besides wmp yet though. I usually either listen to them in wmp or yahoo mj.
