    I have an .ogm video file.
    I want to convert it to avi, in order to create a dvd video later.
    I used 'total converter' but it cannot recognise the file.
    Vlc player play it.
    Convertx2dvd cannot recognise it.

    How can I convert it to a more standard video file format?

    are you using latest convertxtodvd? it has better ogm support.

    You may be right! I have 2.0.17 but as I see now in their site, 2.1 version seem to support .ogm.
    I 'll try it!
