I have a wonderful software called AUDIO DVD CREATOR. It takes .wav files (wave audio files) from CDs and puts them into a .VOB format. What you get is 10 or more CDs of wave files put onto one DVD ............and with the finest audio quality. Sounds great, right?

Now my question: I want to go to the audio VOB files that the AUDIO DVD CREATOR made. I want to convert them back to the original .wav files (wave audio files).

    How do I do this?

By the way, I have used the RIVER PAST AUDIO CONVERTER which is used to open the .VOB files on movies and extract the music files. But I only am able to convert the beginning and ending wave files back.

There can be much said about imToo, but I'm rather fond of the imToo DVD Audio ripper. You wont get your original WAVs back, but you'll get as close as you can (if you've deleted your source material).

Open them up with DGIndex. Add all the VOB files, then save "Audio" -->Output to WAV

I would like very much to try the DVD ripper. I downloaded it and installed it. But I cannot try it until I buy it.

    Has this been your experience?

  7. You can also try freeware DVD2AVI.

Beware of, there is 44->48KHz re-sampling when you make the audio-DVD. there will be another 48->44Khz re-sampling when you extract the dvd-audio. If the outcome sound irritating, then you are getting the double aliasing.
