    First, stop using all caps.

    Second, we need more information. How is the TV connected? What video card are you using? Are you using the latest video card drivers?

    Sounds like a video card driver issue. Possbily with the overlay settings.

    the tv is connected using svideo with latest nvidia's geforce 6200 turbocache drivers
    what should i do to solve the problem please?

    How are the video drivers configured? Is the TV setup as a 2nd monitor? Or is it displaying everything that is on the desktop?

    Most TV output issues are covered in the FAQ provided by nVidia.
