I have a problem with adding a subtitle to a DVD movie.

I mannge to do everything but when i played the compleated movie i have an audio delay.

In PgcDemux i checked the audio delay and i get a 144 msecs.

Then i remuxed the files with Muxman and in the audio delay i put 144, but when the job was done i played the movie and it has an audio delay.

Is there any other way to do this???

  2. Hi-

You're sure that it's not a positive/negative issue? The delay as given by PGCDemux, or as set by you in Muxman, isn't negative? Anyway, assuming it's off by the same amount all the way through, here's how to fix it:

Open a VOB in Media Player Classic. Right-click the screen and go Options->Filter->Audio Switcher->check the "audio time shift" box, and fill in an estimate of the amount of asynch. Hit "Apply" and test it out. Negative values are to make the audio play earlier. 1000 ms= 1 second. Resume playback. Adjust until you get it right. At that point you'll know how much the audio is out of synch and how to adjust the delay from the 144 ms you originally set in Muxman when you mux again.

  5. You're welcome, Sartori. And don't forget to uncheck the box or set the delay back to zero, or else every video you play in MPC from now on will be delayed by the same amount.
