I've looked into a few different programs to record Pay Per View downloads, but couldn't find anything for DIVX. What im trying to do - I've downloaded a file and it is saved to my hard drive in DIVX format. I try to watch it on something other than the divx player and it is all choppy and broken like its encrypted. Also I've used the DIVX converter and another converting program but it wont let me convert the file to any other type. My question - Is there a program that I can use to either recode the movie or as the movie is playing that I could record what is playing on the screen and have sound work. I am new to streaming video and pay per view downloads, I see it as since I have the movie downloaded already why cant I just have the encryption taken off or something like that.

the idea is to read the terms before you rent the movie ... you can not do this legally ... i.e. remove the drm
