Hi,

I was encoding some files to Huffyuv using TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0, and I noticed the files sizes were unsually small. I took the same file and saved it using VirtualDub, and the file was about 3 times larger — about the size I'm used to for this format.

Then I did some tests with checksums and only the larger VirtualDub produced Huffyuv file matched up with the original uncompressed AVI.

My question is, what is TMPGEnc doing to make the file so small? It's not a whole lot bigger than a DV file. What's going on here?
