Removing the Day, Date & Time from Digital movies and pictures

can any body tell me how to remove the Day, Date and Time off video clips and movies I have made into Digital on my computer. Also can you tell me how to remove water marks and trade logos of Digital movies and pictures.

Is there any FREE soft wear I can down load and use to do this. I am a total novise at this... it is all new to me, so any explanations and helpful advise would be greatly appreasiated.

Virtualdub together with a logoaway filter, https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?howtoselect=5;66#5;66

Or VirtualDub with the DeLogo filter. IMHO it works a little better than logoaway, but don't expect perfection if what you're trying to remove is not semi-transparent.

If your home movies are being transferred from a mini-DV camera then you should be able to turn this off in the camera so it doesn't get transferred across to the computer. If it comes from a still digital camera then you have to turn if off before you shoot.
