Firmware for LG-4040B

Greetings,

Im looking for the A304 firmware for the LG-4040b dvd burner.

I did a search in here and found a thread directing me to cdfreaks, but the file download function is disabled.

I was wondering if anyone happened to know of another place I could get it, as it is no longer on the LG site.

As well, before I DO upgrade the firmware, any helpful hints for me?

Its on the British LG site.

Click on DEVICE DRIVER tab,then DVD-ROM (Writer) and go to page 5,its at the top of the list.

The only hint I can think of regarding your post is NOT to upgrade the firmware UNLESS you are experiencing problems at the moment.
