Hello All,
I am newbie with Premiere Pro and Procoder. I learned from this forum that Procoder 2.0 offers the best performance in mpeg encoding so now I am in position where my first hour of DV footage is ready to be burnt onto a DVD.
When I tried to "export to DVD", it won't offer me any option of choosing Procoder over Mainconcept coder. Is there anyway that I can use Procoder instead of Mainconcept or its a limitation of Procoder demo version?
Many thanks

Go to File>Export Movie> on the bottom right, check the settings...
You should be able to find Procoder options. Chances are, you'll be able to save out to an .m2v file at least. Perhaps procoder lets you dig deeper, and compress audio also. If not, then you'll need to save as a separate .AVI, and encode... -
check that the procoder dongle is properly installed or the premiere link will not work (not sure it works anyway with v.2 adobe) , or frame serve it out of premiere w/ satish debugmode frame server to procoder ... you will have to encode the ac3 separately
