    I have a friend at work that has a mac and needs some easy conversion software for converting movies to psp format.. i know my way around a dos box but have little knoweldge of Mac software can anyone sugest anything.. Freeware or commerical as long as its good and not to complicated as he's not real computer savy... Needs to be able to rip - remove protection and convert to psp.. thanks in advance for any advise

  2. Rip with MTR, convert to PSP with ffmpegX, Toast, PSPWare, Handbrake Lite.

    I've had good results with the first three. As with all conversions it's a case of finding your own balance of quality over size and speed of compression.

  3. Popcorn 2 works better then Toast for this. Popcorn 2 has more options for extracting and better control over the audio tracks.

  8. you can easily make any video format hawkeye accepts into PSP/iPod ready with a drag and drop. after re-encode the file will be copied directly to your PSP (currently only PSP 2.8+ firmware compatible)
