Ripping a DVD with DVDx 1.6 shutdown after encoding problem

I use this programm to rip a DVD under Windows XP. On this progarm there is an icon where you can enable shutdown of the PC after encoding has finished. I tried it but after encoding win XP does not shutdown so nothing. Does this possibility of DVDx 1.6 not work under WIN XP or must I do to ? Or is there another programm under XP which shutdown my PC after encoding (checking CPU work or timer etc.)

the same problem occurs under win200 aswell U get the same error with flask. Will never no the reason why but it still encodes. On the otherhand Tmpeg ver 2.5 allows the shutdown facility to work.
