    Hi all:

I was testing another converting program to see if it fits my needs.

Everything was working with AVI2SCVD untill I got a message that MPEG2 supplied with tmpgEnc
has passed the free trial period !!!

There is no way to use DVD2SCVD with only free tools ??

    hilario.

I saw a Dodec the other day. It was sitting in my back yard, watching the guinea pigs. Nasty, hairy bastard he was.

According to the FAQ for DVD2SVCD, you no longer need any commercial software for it to function. Quenc is one encoder it uses, bbMprg appears to be another. I don't know if it uses HCEnc yet, but if it does, that would be my choice.
