  1. I wanted to take a still image out of an AVI I created to make a menu for my DVD project. I can't figure out how to make a BMP or JPG out of a single frame from my AVI file. Please let me know how to do this.

  2. Use Virtual Dub
    http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
    Select range you want pics from.
    "File", "Save Image Sequence"
    Choose output directory
    Choose prefix of name that you want.
    choose ( .bmp ) default, or change to ( .jpg )
    hit OK.

  3. Many editors will let you do this. MGI Videowave II SE, a low budget thing that came with one of the EZCD Creator versions does this file - can save to bmp.

    Pinnacle software also does this.
