Extraction Of Specific Chapters w/ MTR

I have been trying to extract specific title sets using MTR 2.6.6 and I'm having problems. While I am having no problems with main feature extraction. I follow the manual for title-chapter extraction by first selecting that extraction type, then setting the start chpt (SChpt) and then end chpt (EChpt) then I click go to extract. The extraction occurs but it won't allow playback. Can anyone help me with what I may be doing wrong or something I need to do in order to accomplish this ... thanx.[/b]

I think I vaguely recall having the same problem. In my case, extracting the chapter to MPEG4 format was fine for me, so I used Handbrake. That did it. I hope that helps.

What are you using for playback? Quicktime (without MPEG-2 playback) or DVD Player won't open the file - try VLC, MPlayer to open the .vob

Also 2.6.6 isn't very good for newer DVDs (what's the DVD title you're having problems with).

Did you try yade X to extract the title set?
