    Hi there,

I am having some trouble with DVD Slideshow GUI. I am trying to add an avi file to my slideshow but when I try to export it, I get the following error msg.

    Avisynth open failure:
AVISource: couldn't locate decompressor for fourcc mjpg
    (c:\Program Files\DVDslideshowgui\DVDsGUItemp.avs, line 118)

I am not very familiar with programming but this is what I have done.

I have downloaded the newest versions of avisynth and QuENC. I have also downloaded the K-LITE full CODEC pack with windows classic media player.

This still does not fix the problem though.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks in advance,

    Graham

  2. You might need a directshow mpeg2 decoder.

You could follow liquid_217's suggestions here:

    https://www.videohelp.com/~liquid217/dvdauthorgui.pl?p=download

And install one of them and if that doesn't work try the Directshow Filter Manager to clean up interfering decoders.

BTW. his DVD author GUI is great for setting up DVD menus for your slideshows.
