Is Magic Ripper the best commercial ripper ?

My Brother says that " Magic Ripper " is the best commercial ripper on the market,
Especially for ripping Sony.

Is this true?

IMHO the best ripper of any kind is RIPIT4ME.

I've heard good things about anydvd. It can run in the background and you can use traditional older rippers like dvd shrink without having to rip it to the harddrive first and then shrink.

Though I don't like paying for rippers so I've been using dvdfabdecrypter (free) when I need to do a newer movie. Otherwise I still use dvd shrink/dvd decrypter for my older stuff.

RIPIT4ME is an excellent ripper. Next in line is AnyDVD.

To OP, why does it need to be a commercial ripper. There are freeware rippers that do a much better job than majority of commercials rippers cant do.

IMO, Magic Ripper is nowhere near the top line of rippers, and doesn't even get talked about much on this forum.
