Okay, so I have a lot of TV shows on DVD. Someday, when BD-R is a reality, I want to be able to fit them all on one disc (or as few discs as possible).
I have one TV show which was recorded on NTSC videotape, and I want to preserve the interlace. For now I can fit one season onto a DivX disc. In FCP I have problems with the fields in motion. Cuts from one angle to another have this combing effect. I am ripping the discs from the MPEG-2 files.
