I have this problem with DVDA (studio) where it wants to "recompress' my already rendered movie (mpg).
However this is not always the case.
For example if I add 10 movies to menu 1; 4 are set to recompress and the other 6 are not.
Then I create another project and add those same 10 again. Now ALL 10 are NOT set to recompress.
Also, I noticed sometimes if I change a menu setting or something else that causes; what seems to be a randomly chosen video in the project to be set to recompress.
So does anyone have a clue as to what is going on with DVDAS?
