Hi all,
I'm using DVD Architect Studio 5.0 to put together these few educational lesson videos and make nice menu, and make it playable on DVD.. And I need to add subtitles of another language for each videos. Unfortunately I've searched around the software and also the web for ways of doing that, but I couldn't find it!
-Is there a feature in DVDA Studio 5 for subtitling? If so, why can't I find it?
-If there isn't, can anyone help offering me any solutions?
I'm running out of time.. Need all the help possible! (except buying another software)..
Thanks!
Rainoz

DVD Architect always comes with Sony Vegas right ?
In older Sony Vegas you can use key "R" that creates region from cursor position or loop region , you can have "edit details" on screen as well (View/Edit Details/Show-Regions) and edit those there as well.
When you are done you choose script Export regions as subtitles and load it into DVD Architect.
New releases have extra feature to create close captioning,
use key "C" , then choose command "608CC1" (only first time ), write subtitle, choose different spot , key "C", write comment etc....,at the end Script -Export Closed Captioning for DVD Architect
Captions are "on" all the way to the next created caption,to create length of captioning, perhaps you have to create empty string for some comment or so, I could not believe they did not tune this up, or mayby latest version of Vegas 11 it is different
BUT I use third method, free Subtitle Workshop (not for DVD Architect but it has export of *.sub for that soft alone you can use)
https://www.videohelp.com/tools/Subtitle-Workshop
-load movie, file/ new subtitles, start movie but never use stop , just click to movie overlay to start or stop playback,
key "Ins" create subtitle, write it, set time for start and end(10th and 11th button from left), use Alt+arrow left or right to move some reasonable amount forward or back while tuning up times
