I'm creating discs with this player and then if I try to make copies on my PC, I am told that the disc is copy protected. I've tried it with Nero and DVD Shrink.
Basically, is there a way to turn this feature off that I'm missing? I don't see a whole lot of use in a feature like this for someone who is making homemade discs. I doubt anyone who wants to put out professional discs is going to go this route.
If there is an option to turn it off, I can't seem to find where it may be.

I was using a Maxell DVD-RW. I thought that I had finalized it. Maybe just a bad disc.
