Hello,
I like to use the 'Record Cropped Video' option when capturing with ATI's MMC...I like how it cleans up the edges. But I find the black bars it creates are just a tad too big.
Does anyone know if I can adjust the size of these black bars? Perhaps in the registry?
Thanks,
gammer

I know it was possible in the older versions, have not tried this on MMC9x.
Do a search in the Registry for "rtinterval". This should find you the correct section, under ATI, TV, and Capture. Look in the MPG section, you can find your preset identified by the name parameter.
If you make changes, do NOT open the settings for MMC afterwards, this will overwrite any registry changes. This means you must edit the currently selected preset.
The cropping values used to be expressed as a percentage of pixels and would go to round numbers, ie it would not attempt to crop 16.5 pixels but would crop 17.
Do report back on any success/failure. -
No luck.
I did find the Registry settings and that was handy for some other adjustments. But no luck with cropping.
Thanks anyway...
