Well its looks to me like a online version of word.
If I need to store my files on the web i just upload them to my gmail account.
Btw, how did you manage to get access to the service?

Same way I'm offering out to everyone else. If you share a document to someone they have to sign up to view it. So by shareing out a document they are invited into the beta.

The problem with uploading ot your gmail account is you cannot edit them while they are online. Its kinda cool, and owned by google so it kinda goes with the google spreadsheet beta which is also cool.

For example I shared out a copy of my resume to a friend who I talk to online, I've not seen them in person in many years, they are a techincal writer with an english degree and are helping me clean it up all nice like.
