i know you can scan to tiff, save and use office document imaging on the tiff to ocr and create a word doc, but that's ridiculous. i was in the middle of writing and didn't want to take a time out and do an end run.....
anyone have a better way?

The Clip Organizer may help lessen the pain. But, yes, that is an insane feature removal.

errrr. i can deal with the ribbon, it's not a big deal but i'm tempted now to go back to officeXP, it just worked and the ui was laid out fine. effing m.s. just wanted mo money for nutt'n. glad the basterds got burned with the docx format fiasco.
anyone know if officeXP works in win7?--

I'm running Word 2002 in Windows 7 Ultimate both on my 32 and 64 bit boxes
