which one is better of the two
and is there any multi region code for the Philips DVP 3046/94.
Is Philips DVP 5106K/97 and Philips DVP 3046/94 are the same dvd models as i cannot find any mention of Philips DVP 5106K/97 on the philips indian site

Sorry you haven't had any replies as yet. Those models may be mostly for your region. I favor the LG brand in general, but am not familiar with that model.

You could try a Google search for information or reviews of them. I see the LG 9533 has one comment in our DVD Players list. The Philips DVP 3046 is listed, but no comments.
