    Hi all,

    Well, I'm pretty sure this has been raised up before, but let me ask anyway, I have 2 DVD's that I want to join together into one with no more than 3 mouse clicks, I mean, an initial menu should appear allowing me to choose which original disc I'd like to watch;

OK, so far I've seen that DVD Remake Pro does exactly this, nice !

But does DVD2ONE also do that ? By its title I'm pretty sure it does, just wanna double-check...which should be your preference ?

    Any freeware program ?

    Many thanks,

    Zetti

Yes, this has been brought up many, many times. Probably about five times in the last week or two.

Use TDA and import each movie. Simple menu system and less hassle than dvdremake.

Thanks, I'll probably stick to Remake Pro though cause it's cheaper and there's no period checking of my honesty :P

    Hi

Is it true that you can't import any subtitles when making those merging discs with TMPG DVD Author?

TDA doesn't do subtitles. But you can add them in with IFOEdit after authoring. Or use a authoring program like DVD Lab Pro that does support subtitles.

    Done.

    Where's the hassle ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Well, thanks for the replies,

I bought DVDRemake Pro only because of the merge option, OK; I'm not regreted, but customizing the initial menu screen IS A HASSLE, definitely. Users have to author a separate DVD and import it to the program, then one has to deal with the PGC's just to change the writing

I don't care about subtitles or whatsoever, all I need is a 3 click program that would allow me to merge 2 DVD's keeping everything. I think it is URGENT the sw writer to change the function of customizing menu imediately.

    Thanks,

    Zetti
